We first met during our high school graduation trip to Italy. I know what you’re thinking.. “how did they go to the same high school and not know each other?”. Truth is we never met.. our first encounter was in the town of Assisi, Italy. Our group was touring an ancient church led by the Monks when we started chatting (actually chatting so much the tour guide was not pleased). We spent the rest of the trip together travelling Rome and have been inseparable ever since!

Lots of laughs, a few vacations, and two degrees later we bought our first house. Nestled right next to the Red Hill Valley trail it was the perfect place to call home. Only thing that was missing was a dog. That’s when we decided to get Lily, who has now brought so much light and love to our lives!

2.5 years after moving into our home came the proposal, which was perfect in every way. We had gotten our Christmas tree the day before so our plan was to decorate it. At the end we stood back to admire our beautiful work, and as I turned around Cole was on one knee displaying the most stunning ring. He asked if I’d make him the happiest man alive and spend the rest of our lives together. Of course, I said YES! It was the most beautiful intimate moment just us and the pup.

This all led us to where we are today. We can’t wait to celebrate our love this winter with all of you!

The day we were supposed to get married. The government had different plans for us announcing yet another lockdown. After hearing "no receptions allowed" on the news we decided to postpone. We spent what would have been our wedding night in - ordering food, having some wine, and playing video games to celebrate. We are so excited for our new spring date and wanted to thank you all for your endless love and understanding!
