Caleb and Natalie Ward

If you ask Natalie: After attending MSU for 2 years, I had branched out into a new friend group that included Caleb. We would all get together each week and watch Yellowstone together. If you had told me then that we would now be getting married, I would NOT believe you. The Lord truly orchestrated our lives to intertwine in such a unique way that I never expected. Everyone knew that Caleb liked me: except for me. Looking back, I see the many attempts he made to ask me out and the awkward stares that people made when he tried to flirt with me. Very unexpectedly and surprisingly, Caleb told me on December 5th that he liked me and wanted me to know how he felt about me. I cannot say that I was immediately interested. I was shocked because this was my very good FRIEND. That day, many tears were shed and prayers were prayed out loud with another praying for clarity on the situation. It was pretty clear that night that the Lord was working. Peace came very quickly, and we have been inseparable ever since. There is no one more perfect than Caleb. The way he loves me is unmatched from anyone I have ever known. I cannot wait to see the many more ways that God continues to move and shape our lives together in our marriage. If you ask Caleb: I remember BSU BASIC in the fall of 2022. This cute little short blonde girl came up and talked to me for the first time. During this time, I would see her periodically throughout campus, and I could NEVER remember her name. (She reminds me of this daily and tells everyone we meet.) On October 30th on one of our Yellowstone nights with our friend group, we took a BeReal. To me, it seemed like Natalie leaned into me, but she will say I leaned into her, but in the end, it does not matter because we are getting married. That night, I looked at the photo, and I knew she was the one I wanted to marry. I had liked her for a while, and I was waiting for the right moment to tell her. After some time, I was on the phone with Natalie one day, and an hour into it, I told her I liked her. I thought the call had dropped because she was so silent. I asked "are you there," and she said "yes, I just don't know what to say." In a three minute span, she says this quote MULTIPLE times: "Im not saying we are going to date, BUT." After this conversation, we went to Sonic together to get pretzels and slushes, and we shared our testimonies with each other and what we wanted in a relationship. Shortly after, on January 7th, 2023, I asked her to be my girlfriend. A year later, I asked her to be my wife, and this is how it all began.
