Hello, my name is Sydney Schrock! I am Nattie’s niece. I am a part of Decatur High Honors Program. I enjoy reading all types of genres, things from “The Hunger Games” to things like “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society,” when I say all genres I mean, all types of genres. I also enjoy writing for things I’m passionate about, but I also enjoy writing novels. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. Especially Natalie. Or to the nieces and nephews, “Maggie.” Aunt Maggie had been an inspiration to me my life so far, and will continue to be for the rest. We’ve had so many experiences together. Such as; faith, Florida, Attitudes, and even more. One story of Maggie I will never forget is when… i watched her graduate for high school on our tv. (It was during Covid). But I remember watching her walk across the stage. When she revived her diploma, I thought she was the coolest person around. I was so proud of her, I thought then and still think now that she can do anything she puts her mind to. Natalie has truly been the sister I never had! When Maggie met Nolan, I knew they were destined for each other. When people say, “Think of a time between you and Nolan.” I think of when him and Natalie when to Florida with us. Nolan made me not be afraid of the Ocean. I was so scared of rip-tides and sharks. I will never forget what Nolan said, “If you have fear the whole time you won’t enjoy it.” I was still scared. So he stayed near me until I wasn’t scared. Nolan is a truly amazing person. Brenton and I have looked up to him for a while now. We’ve always considered him our uncle. I’m so happy that they worked out, and are now to be married. Natalie and Nolan are remarkable people. I’m so happy that I have known them both. I love them both so much. I am even more happy that that they landed each other. To Natalie and Nolan.
