I call it modern day COMPUTER LOVE!

DeVance and I met online

His message was witty

He commented on my eyes

And for some reason, he didn’t seem like one of the creepy guys

He was fresh off the plane from Jersey

Had just made it to H-Town

And needed a pretty lady to show him around

Our first date was at Pappadeaux’s

DeVance was sitting in the booth when I arrived

I watched him watch me

I could tell he was pleasantly surprised.

We talked over dinner and

I thought this one could be a winner

But I played it cool

cause he wasn’t a down south dude

His Jersey swag was in full effect and he informed me that he took the day off

because he felt like we would connect.
