One evening, with no expectations other than some lighthearted scrolling, we both found ourselves on Tinder—and then we found each other. Jackson’s profile caught my attention instantly (mostly because of his charming smile, but also because his bio read: “Adventurous spirit, terrible at karaoke, but will serenade you anyway.”). Intrigued, I swiped right.

I laughed, hovered over the screen for a second, and swiped right.

I didn’t expect much, maybe some casual conversation, maybe nothing at all. But within minutes, Jackson messaged first.

Fast forward through countless late-night drives, spontaneous road trips, and a LOT of meeting half ways, here we are—completely, ridiculously in love. Every single day, he still finds a way to make me laugh, even when I don’t feel like it. He still sings off-key on purpose just to make me roll my eyes. He still looks at me like I’m the best thing that’s ever happened to him.

And honestly? He’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me too.
