Climate

The dry season is from December to April, and the wet season is from May to November. The weather in Costa Rica in July can vary depending on the region, but in general, you can expect temperatures to be warm and humid, with an average of around 80°F to 86°F (27°C to 30°C). The Pacific coast tends to be a bit drier, while the Caribbean coast may receive more rainfall.

Is the water drinkable in Costa Rica?

Yes, the water is potable in most of the country. We would only recommend bottled water for a few rural areas. Bring your reusable water bottle to decrease your footprint while you’re here. When starting your adventure for the day, fill up your bottle before you leave because refill stations may be a long trek to locate.
