If you are traveling to Lexington, Kentucky for our big day You are in for a real treat! Hopefully you can stay longer than just for the wedding because Kentucky really is a beautiful place to visit. While downtown Lexington is a thriving hustle and bustle city rich with history and an amazing art scene. The outer areas are filled with sprawling horse farms, lush greenery, and of course horses. There is plenty to do in the area especially during October whether it be taking in the horse races at Keeneland, antiquing at one of the peddler malls , shopping or taking in one of the areas most gorgeous Orchards for some apple cider donuts and pumpkins! Lexington is a fairly easy area to get around, and there are tons of really nice and affordable air bnbs and hotels for your stay! We have added the deets for the block rate at the Hampton Inn. Its listed for Friday - Monday but guests can book for all the nights or just as many nights as you need. If you prefer to stay elsewhere, we would suggest staying near the Hamburg Pavilion area near Winchester Road as it is a straight shot to the wedding venues and is surrounded by local eateries, shopping, etc. Another option is a hotel or air bnb close to downtown Lexington as well!
