Natasha and I first met in 2004. We worked on the same shift, but in different areas, and our interactions were brief—a wave as she passed by, and a wave back from me. Over the years, our paths didn’t cross often as she switched shifts, but fate had other plans. Fast forward to 2023: in early February, I found myself working the same shift as Natasha again, though in a different terminal. Not long after, I was asked to move to her terminal for the next 12 months, and that’s when we really started to connect.

Natasha had enrolled in the Manager Mentoring program, and I was assigned as her mentor. We worked side by side, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, helping each other grow professionally. As we spent more time together, our conversations went beyond work, touching on everything from childhood memories to recent life experiences. It turned out we had much more in common than we ever realized. Soon, we started staying after work, talking for hours long after our shifts had ended. She was beautiful, kind, and incredibly smart, and I like to think my wit and charm helped us get even closer. We laughed together, shared stories, and, before we knew it, we were spending more and more time together.

As summer arrived, I decided to take a chance and ask Natasha out on a date. She said yes, and we went to a dinner and show, having an amazing time. From there, we made it official and became a couple. The more we got to know each other, the deeper our bond became. By the third month of dating, I knew she was the one. Every moment with her felt like time stood still—just the two of us, in our own world. We became each other’s best friends, and it was clear where this relationship was heading.

I proposed, she said yes, and now we’re here, ready to take the next step in our journey together. We’re excited for this new chapter and grateful for everyone’s support as we move forward toward the happy ending we’ve both dreamed of.
