It all started when Michael hopped in my inbox! In April 2017 I was newly single and posted a strong warning message intended to detour guys from jumping in my inbox... and then here goes Michael I seen your post but...!. Turns out Michael spoke for many years in passing while I gave my RBF and a nod... and kept walking past each other at work for probably 7 years or more. We each had our own paths we had taken all those years but that one single post prompted several conversations, lots of laughs, a first lunch date, first family outings and first family trips.

We discovered opposites attract and they work! He works nights, I work days, he does things on a whim and I am planner, he is a homebody and I love to be out and about. We do have several things in common though... we love football and the Florida Gators (Chomp, chomp, chomp!), we love our kids, family and friends and we love to laugh... I would say we both love water outings and swimming but Michael almost drowned on our first water outing!

2018 was a year of ups and downs... we started blending our families, survived Hurricane Michael, had 16 days without power (4 kids and a dog) but 2018 ended on a good note when Michael proposed at work. He surprised me with a decorated office, flowers, balloons and got down on one knee. I felt so bad because I laughed the entire time... but of course, said yes!

Originally, we planned for a 2020 wedding but life happened and the wedding did not... From 2018 to 2022... we had proms, graduations, worked our careers, received promotions, had a pandemic among other things and we both suffered the loss of our mothers. Those things made us a stronger couple... a couple that could compromise, communicate and a couple that would promise to always work on us.

In 2023 we recommitted to wedding or bust and decided on 2-24-24.
We are excited about our continued love, life together and sharing that with our family and friends!
