We had our first date at Martini’s Bar in Kitchener, (fitting because this happens to be Natasha’s favourite cocktail). One hour of conversation quickly turned into four hours of laughter – we were the last two in the restaurant and we have been inseparable ever since.

Fast-forward four months: we book a last minute trip to Tulum. Our shared passion for incredible food, margaritas and travel turned into an unwavering shared passion for one another.

One afternoon while touring downtown Tulum, we wandered into a tequila shop. We spent a few minutes sampling within the store and decided we would take home our favourite bottle of tequila and made a promise to one-another: We would only open this tequila when we bought a house together.

It’s been five years since that trip. We have our house. We continue to travel. We have our chihuahua, Stevie and now: We’re Getting Married.
