Natasha was in her hometown awaiting the birth of her nephew, Ned and attended her home church for service. Jason saw Natasha across the sanctuary at church and made a beeline in her direction. She was sitting next to his friend and her brother-in-law, Kolin, so Jason said hi to him and asked him if she was Alex's sister and if she was single. After hearing a yes to both questions, he introduced himself to Natasha.

After church ended, Jason (with the help of Kolin) orchestrated for Natasha and her family to go eat at Whataburger with him and some other friends. They spent the meal cracking jokes and laughing. Natasha went home happy, but didn't think much about it until Alex told her that Kolin was playing matchmaker. Jason went home happy, and asked Kolin and Alex to put in a good word for him.

Later that night, Jason added Natasha on Facebook and sent her a direct message. The next day, he asked her to go for a run while she was in town. She said, "If you meant, stroll to a coffee shop, I'd love to!"

The next day, they had their first date along the Riverwalk... They went on a run. LOL.

Their run-coffee date quickly turned into a run-coffee-lunch-stroll-ice cream-stroll-board game-dinner-movie date. It lasted so long, Natasha's sisters asked if she was tied up in his basement and made her send the family safe word.

Weeks in, they knew they were going to marry each other and just three months later, Jason made it official when he asked Natasha to marry him during their trip to Dubai.

And that is the story of how Stechman and Wife came to be.
