How do I RSVP? When is it due by?
There is a RSVP link on the homepage of this website, and it will prompt you to let us know if you accept our invitation! We ask that you please send in your response no later than October 15th.
What time should I arrive? What happens if I'm late?
The ceremony begins promptly at 4. If you are not seated prior to this, you are at risk of missing the start of the ceremony, as you must wait for the entire bridal party entrance to finish before entering ceremony space. Cocktail hour will begin immediately after the ceremony is over, followed by dinner and dancing. We plan to celebrate until 10pm!
What more can you tell me about your venue (including directions)?
Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be located at the venue listed on your invitation! Once you turn on to Burdick St., it is easy to be confused by the large buildings on the right. The actual wedding venue can be found all the way at the END of the street. You will see a large parking lot to the left and beautiful building with both a ramp and staircase on the right.
Are my children invited to the wedding?
The short answer is unfortunately, no. We love all of our friends and family dearly. It was extremely difficult to create a guest list while staying within the maximum capacity limits that we discussed with our venue. We both are surrounded by a multitude of loving family and friends who have children ranging from newborns to teenagers. As much as we would like to share this day with them, it was best to keep our list to adults only. Please note, you will see our IMMEDIATE nieces and nephews, our siblings children, as they are a part of our wedding ceremony. Thank you so much for understanding, and we hope this does not create too much frustration for you. If you are a parent, consider this to be either a night out with friends or a date night with your love while you celebrate our love!
Be advised: The Mehndi guest is different.
Will we be outdoors?
With the Lord's hand on the weather, the ceremony is planned to be outdoors and the cocktail hour and reception will be inside. There is both covered and uncovered outdoor lounge space if you need to get some fresh air after the ceremony!
What should I wear?
If you know Natasha personally, you know that she loves this question- we both cannot wait to see you arrive in style! The dress code is black tie optional-formal. Feel free to wear any color you’d like, but avoid white or any variety of white shades.
As the dress code is black tie optional, please avoid wearing denim of any kind, including denim jackets.
Do I have a plus one?
Our guest list is invitation only. As you may have seen in our question regarding children, we are unfortunately limited with our capacity and hope this does not cause you too much frustration!
Will I be able to eat with my dietary restrictions and food allergies?
We tried our best to have a large variety of food! Our venue also works hard to offer a range of cuisine during cocktail hour and dinner, and our hope is that you will leave our wedding safely nourished.
Can you elaborate on gifting?
Your joyful presence and support at our wedding is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can view our wedding registry, which is linked on this website. A card box will also be available at the wedding.
Are there hotel accommodations near the venue?
We did not choose to provide a hotel block, since we are aware that the majority of our guests either live locally, or already plan to have local travel accommodations. Luckily, most places in Syracuse are quite close to each other! If you do need suggestions on a place to stay nearby, feel free to contact us or our families for help.
Additionally, alcohol will be provided, so please drink responsibly. If you cannot find a helpful family member or friend to get you home, we suggest you plan to use an Uber or Lyft. We want you to have fun, but want to see you again safe and sound after our celebration!
