Kaleb and I met when we were in Grade 4, when I first moved to Caronport. We were inseparable in elementary and high school, and we’ve become closer since then. Kaleb has been my best friend throughout my life, and even if we don’t talk for half a year, it never feels like time will get in our way. Kaleb taught me what a true friend would be, from the moment we became friends.

Kaitlin and I met in Grade 2 and hit it off immediately! We have been through many big life events together and I am excited that she is standing up with me at this one. She is funny, smart, and always has an answer for everything. Kaitlin is always ready to give me advice when I need it and give me a reality check when I overthink too much! Kaitlin is an amazing friend and I’m honoured that she is my Maid of Honour!

Ethan and I never became close until grade 8 or so. We met as well in grade 4, but him and Orrin were kind of just super good friends with each other. It took them a while to branch out, but when they did, we became lifelong friends. Ethan has always been someone I want to talk to, confide in, or just be around, even when he may not have known it. His relationship with his family and with God has been an inspiration to me as I’ve grown closer to him. Just like Kaleb and Orrin, it feels like nothing life throws at us will be able to stop our friendship. Ethan helped me always look on the brighter side of life, just by how full of life and kind he always was.

Julaine and I first met at Eston College, her room was right across from mine! I'd say we hit it off immediately - seen as I knew she would be my sister-in-law within the first two weeks of meeting her (and yes this was before she really even knew my brother). And I was right, Julaine is an amazing sister-in-law and I am very honoured that she is standing up with me!

Orrin has been one of my closest friends since Grade 7. I aggravated him probably more days than I’d like to admit, because I knew how to push every single button he has. Somehow, he still saw the good side of me and the way he stays true to our friendship is always comforting. Orrin helped me learn very young that your family is not just in your blood.

Who better to have as a bridesmaid other than the one woman who has been there for your whole life and supported you through every mountain high and valley low. My momma is my rock, my best friend, my shoulder to cry on, my support, my forever best friend. She has always been there to cheer me up, get pedicures, and laugh way too hard at things that probably weren't actually that funny! My mom has always been there for me growing up and having the honor of her standing up with me on my wedding day is honestly one of the best things I could imagine, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Dean is the cutest little man around. He's great style, a giant smile, and has enough energy to power a large building! Almost every time Dean sees me he runs and gives me a giant hug that nearly knocks me over - but oh boy can you feel the love in it! He is so special to me and I'm honoured to be his 'Aunty Tasha'. I couldn't think of a better little dude to carry our rings!

Emmersyn is our niece and in our totally unbiased opinion - she is the cutest! She is full of energy, laughter, and so much shareable love! She is always wanting to help and spend time with family whether it’s doing the dishes (she loves the bubbles), cooking, baking, reading books, or playing with toys! She already has such a kind heart and loves to comfort people and make sure they’re okay. We are so excited to have Emmersyn be our flower girl and we are already prepared for her to steal the show!
