Drinks?

Please note our wedding/reception will NOT have an open bar. The VFW's regular stock will be available for purchase. We will provide a small selection of soda/juice/water.

Time?

The ceremony will start promptly at 5pm. Reception will follow immediately.

Attire?

Casual! Please come dressed as you feel comfortable. We are not going all out with our clothes, so please come as you are.

Food?

We plan to have a casual buffet- likely including salad grinders and pizza and possibly some small finger foods. If you have specific dietary restrictions, please feel free to bring your own meal, or contact us and we will see what we can come up with.

Seating?

Please sit wherever you would like! Feel free to mingle and move. We just ask the "parents" table be left for just family.

Please know your presence is gift enough to us! If you would like to gift something, we will have a small registry and/or you can contribute to our house fund or honeymoon. Karaoke?

Yes! This is a karaoke reception! We want our karaoke host to enjoy the evening as much as possible. He is more our guest than a host. You MUST sign up for your songs. Do not expect the host to come to you and ask. Feel free to put in multiple songs at once, you will not be singing them all in a row. The order will be kept the same as much as possible. Please do not harass the host as to when you are singing. Usually there is a scrolling list at the top of the screen to check if you would like to know. At 8 pm the "reception" will be over, but the fun will continue. At this time, the room will be opened up to the public and the regular Friday night karaoke will resume. Please know this may create some confusion with songs, singers and order. Please be patient.

Pictures?

Yes! Please take all of the pictures you would like! We will also have fun props for picture taking, but no professional pictures on this day! We will be doing our professional pictures on our honeymoon. Please upload pictures you would like to share to this website https://my.guestpix.com/Guest/Access/87432/g2kEUSxI. A QR code will also be available at the wedding. Please just keep your phones on silent for the ceremony.

Kids?

While this is not a child free wedding, if you can find a babysitter, it is preferred. If you cannot, no worries! Just let us know so we can plan.
