Zaid was raised by his loving grandparents (whom he considers his parents) on a beautiful country ranch in Honduras. After he lost his sweet grandma / mama at only age 16, his grandpa / papa sold the farm, and Zaid moved to the big city to attend university. By working hard he put himself through college, earning his Finance degree. When he made the brave decision to relocate his entire life to the US completely on his own – to an all new country, not speaking any English, he arrived and worked long hard hours until he could buy his birth mom her own home, in cash. One of the most giving people I have ever met. He is an amazing chef, his abuela taught him well, and he is a much better chef than even I. Zaid holds the title of Mr Latin Utah, and the only bodybuilding contest he ever entered he won first place! He is a top salesman for a nutrition company, also with a successful career in construction, and he now is starting his own custom siding company! His dedication and work ethic are unmatched — a guapo entrepreneur with a heart of solid gold. He carry’s cash in his wallet, just to give to those in need. He wakes up every day at 3:45am for a 2 hour workout, before then a 10+ hour work day, and then comes home to cook all of his meals for the following day, study for his general contractor license, and spends every free minute with me. I think Jolene even loves him more than she does me. His heart is way bigger than even his massive biceps. In a world where we can be anything we choose, Zaid consciously chooses everyday to be kind, compassionate, and loving. The evening before Zaid's surprise proposal (the same night we took the photo above), I told him that one day I would marry him, and put my gold LOTR ring on this ring finger... but little did I know what was about to happen the next day 🖤 Te amo siempre Zaid

At the happiest place on earth, in front of the castle Zaid got down on one knee and asked me to marry him 👑👑💍 Completely surprised — I didn’t even say Yes… I just said “oh my hell Zaid!” and snatched the ring amongst the applauding strangers. But the answer is Yes, I do, and I will. Who could have guessed that three years ago would have brought us here 💎🏰 Te amo

After Zaid surprised me at Disneyland in front of Sleeping Beauty’s castle — by asking me to marry him! I then surprised Zaid with his ring, asking if he was sure he still wanted to marry me, ha — at Disney World, in front of Cinderella’s castle… and it was only us there 🏰
