What time should I arrive at the venue?
If you've been invited for the ceremony and reception, please arrive around 3pm as the ceremony starts at 3:30pm.
If you were invited for the wedding after-party in the evening, please arrive anytime after 8-8:30pm.
Is there a due date for the RSVP?
Yes, RSVP through the site by August 31 at the latest please.
Where is the registry?
We are really just asking for money as a wedding gift, we are saving up for a big trip and our future home together.
We'll accept it physically at the wedding or by e-transfer to nathalie.jireada@gmail.com
Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes, there will be loads of parking available on site.
Is the Ceremony and Reception at the same location?
Yes they are, Ceremony starts at 3:30pm and the Cocktail hour will follow. The reception starts at 6pm.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Ofcourse! We will have little cards across the venue with a QR code where you are encouraged to share your pictures captured throughout the day. But during the ceremony, ideally we would like for you to be off your phone. Thankyou!
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The Ceremony is going to be outside, the Reception is going to be in a tent, and the Party will most likely be an indoor/outdoor mixture in the main building beside the bar and patio, all if weather permits.
Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?
No unfortunately, if you're not driving yourselves, a taxi/uber will be the best option. For taxis I recommend City Cab but any company would work fine. And best to book in advance.
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
Pig Roast, beef and lamb, with salads and other accompaniments in a buffet style.
Appetizers will be served during cocktail hour.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, your drinks are on us.
This only includes wine, beer and spirits (gin, rum, vodka, etc.)
But not including specialty cocktails, doubles or shooters.
Where should I sit?
For the Ceremony it doesnt matter, there are no bride and groom side. But the first row of benches are reserved for immediate family. For the Reception, there will be a sign with your assigned table.
What shoes should I wear?
I know this might be a strange question, but the venue is mostly grass, so stilettos is out of the question for the ladies. Just something to keep in mind.
