Q + A

How can I RSVP?

On your invitation that was emailed to you, there is a link that will allow you to handle your RSVP. There will also be a couple questions that you will be asked, please be sure to answer them.

What date should I RSVP by?

The sooner the better, but of course things happen and plans change. The final deadline is NOVEMBER 1st, 2025.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

We plan to have plenty of options so there will be something for everyone. There will be both stationary and passed hors d'oeuvres as well as plenty of dessert options. For dinner there will be a choice of entree which you will be able to select on your RSVP.

What are the accommodations for food intolerances or allergies?

Please don't worry! We want everything to go as smooth as possible for this, and never want anyone to worry about having something to eat. There will a way for you to contact us about any food concerns, and they will ALL be taken seriously.

Will there be an open bar?

Short answer: Yes. Long answer: Yes, but it's our hope that the night will be memorable.

What time is Sunset?

Sunset for the venue is predicted to be at 4:16pm on Saturday, December 13th, 2025.

What will the weather be like?

Honestly, who could say? Historically for this area the average temperature has been 31 degrees on December 13th, with an average of 5" of precipitation.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Both. The ceremony and reception will be indoors, with cocktail hour being outdoors. In case of inclement weather, there will be a tent to cover the patio for cocktail hour. Heat will be provided in case of cold temperatures.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

First and foremost, comfortable is key! You can't enjoy yourself and look your best unless you're comfortable. For more guidance, dressy casual would be preferred. Nothing too fancy is required, but of course go as glamourous as you feel comfortable. Remember this is December in the north east, so any weather is possible. Our colors, should you choose to go with them, include the colors of the season, so jewel tones, golds and silvers will all be appropriate.

What are the accommodations for the venue?

The property is fully ADA compliant with ramps and paved surfaces available. There will also be assisted parking.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

We would love to have your children join us on our special day. Some things to keep in mind, the venue is a 200 year old barn, so surfaces are uneven, not childproofed, and space will be limited. We will do everything we can to accommodate, but we hope you understand when we say to exercise caution.

Will there be time between the ceremony and reception?

Yes! Following the ceremony, we invite you to join us on the patio where we will have about an hour before the reception. During this time the bar will be opened and there will be hors d'oeuvres available. The wedding party and family will be present the entire time so feel free to mingle away!

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

There will be a short period during the ceremony where photos will be allowed, after which we kindly ask that you unplug and enjoy the ceremony. During the reception, photos are not only welcome, they are encouraged! Take as many as you want!

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I am in town for your wedding?

Of course, Nathan and myself have spent time compiling a list of our favorite things to do and favorite places to eat in and around the area. Please refer to the "Things to Do" tab on our website for more information.

Where should we send wedding gifts?

Your presence at our wedding is the best gift we could ask for. If you would like to honor us with a gift, you are welcome to send them to our home: 1302 Bacchus Drive San Jose, CA 95122

Where will wedding updates be posted?

All wedding updates will be posted here to the website, but of course you are welcome to reach out to either of us.

I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?

Up until the day of the wedding any questions can be answered by contacting either groom. Starting the night before, we will be referring all questions to our wedding party or our event coordinator.
