Nathan and I both attended Salt Company in Ankeny while taking classes at DMACC in the Fall semester of 2022. We both knew of each other but officially met at the DMACC lunch table with friends while bonding over Key and Peele’s “East/West College Bowl” (if you know you know). We didn’t know it then, but that was the beginning of our forever! We continued to hang out in friend groups and got to know each other better as the semester went on. We went on coffee dates, played basketball at the DMACC gym, and eventually it became obvious that we both had feelings for each other and wanted to move forward with our relationship! 




On January 6th, 2023, Nathan officially asked me to be his girlfriend! He showed up to my apartment with flowers, and for our first date as boyfriend and girlfriend we went to his church lock in event they had for the youth group at the church he grew up in. We had a lot of fun together, and right from the start I knew that Jesus would be the center of our relationship!



From Thursday nights at Salt to an overseas mission trip to India and everything in between, we have been able to share in making so many memories together! It has been one of the greatest joys and blessings to serve the Lord together and push each other and others closer to him!



On June 15th, 2024, Nathan popped the question and I said yes to our forever! We have seen the goodness and faithfulness of God in every season and cannot wait to see how the Lord will continue to provide for and strengthen us in our new season of marriage!
