We met on December 27th, 2023 at a church camp (Camp Koinonia in Cle Elum) put on by Grace Baptist church.

Although there was mutual interest on both sides, neither one of us thought that anything would really come of it.

After a few weeks, on January 18th, Nathan reached out to Elizabeth via text and communication flourished. Nathan talked to Elizabeth’s dad on January 27th and got permission to pursue a friendship and eventual relationship with her. Our first phone call took place on the 29th.

In the few months following, many hours spent on the phone talking about life - both little and big - showed that true feelings of care and love developed between us.

We began dating on May 24th, 2024. June 8th was our first date where we joined Nathan's parents at Old Spaghetti Factory and a candlelight concert in downtown Bremerton.

Since then, we have been on countless dates, with mini-golf being a monthly tradition since February 2024.

After getting Elizabeth's dad's permission, Nathan proposed on February 25th, 2025 at Pioneer Orchard Park in Steilacoom. Although it was windy and muddy, God held off the rain and we were able to celebrate with Elizabeth's best friend and her then boyfriend.
