Donnie was Nate's wrestling teammate and engineering classmate in College. They bonded over their mutual love for anime, wrestling, and Erie Brewing Company.

Laura, otherwise known as Dora, is 1/2 of the great Schaefer duo! Nate met Laura while she was in college playing soccer for Penn State Behrend. Since then, they have enjoyed numerous drunk nights out at the bars in Erie and throwing Moe's chips to bystanders at UPMC Park.

Otherwise known as "Lann", is the second half of the Schaefer duo! Nate met her from Laura and the friendship always continued to grow. If you ask her what her favorite drink is, she will always respond with Long Island Ice Teas. . . and they always hit the spot at Coconut Joe's. She has always been the fun-loving nice girl who opened her arms when Gabby was introduced to make her feel warm and welcome to Nate's friend group.

Nate's oldest friend and often called Ty-Lizard by Gabby! Tyler and Nate's friendship dates back all the way to pre-school where they befriended each other. Tyler and Nate have always been joined at the hip since growing up and he was the one that got Nate to try wrestling in 2nd grade as a "point-getter".

Parsons was an engineering classmate with Nate as well as a college wrestling teammate. Professor Parson's, as he is known, was one of the more prominent students at Behrend. He was always on top of his homework and we always went to him for help!

Jakey-Poo is Nate's cousin, born only 2 years apart. They enjoy playing board games, Pokemon, and fantasy football together. Unfortunately for Jake, Nate broke an agreement when deciding to get married to Gabby as they had a pact that one couldn't get engaged prior to the other!

The story of how we became friends with Marc is rather funny. Jake (his cousin) had graduated with Marc and Elana, who had both gotten jobs at GM after graduation. After working in Michigan for 2 years, Jake FINALLY mentioned that he knew some people within the area. After that, Nate, Elana, and Marc started hanging out fairly regularly staying up all night playing Catan and Elana's favorite Monopoly!

Cory Woods, still in Nate's phone as Cory Hltsy, was befriended during Nate's freshman year of college. He was on the same floor as us and would enjoy coming over and watching our NHL tournaments. Friendship continued as we aged and graduated and to this day they still play Fortnite and get the "meat sweats" together.

Ryan is Nate's second oldest friend as they met in Middle School. The friendship continued into college with Nate and Ryan going to the same school in the same major where studying together and asking Parsons or Jordo questions became a regular thing. Ryan and Nate see each other when we are back in Erie and will also continue to go getting the "meat sweats" whenever possible.

Joshua is Gabrielle's older brother and best friend. Growing up, they were partners in crime and were there for each other through thick and thin. Now, Joshua lives an hour away with his fiancé Korena and four children (Gabby's new besties, sorry Josh!) but they see each other whenever possible. He was and always will be Gabby's bffl and she can't think of anyone better to play the part of her Man of Honor.

Devin has been Gabrielle's sister in law since 2020, but they have known each other since she started dating her brother Mikel in 2014. Over the years, Devin and Gabby have gotten to see each other grow and change. When they met in 2014 Gabby had just graduated high school, since then Gabby has spent numerous holidays with Devin, has been in Devin's wedding, and recently gained a nephew, sweet baby Miles! Devin has been their for Gabby through so much and Gabby couldn't imagine having her wedding without Devin in it!

Miranda and Nate meant during a long and strenuous COVID summer helping to build ventilators for Ford Motor Company. After the ventilator program ended, Nate somehow convinced Miranda to come do a rotation at Rawsonville Components Plant (where he worked) and within 2 months, he had taken a new job in Product Development and she was the prime candidate as his replacement. Miranda always calls Nate the "golden child" and still has to try to live up to the expectations he set! Joking aside, Miranda is a great friend of Nate's who continuously hangs out, when not working 14 hours, with Nate & Gabby and even though she is a Detroit Red Wings fan, we still get along!

Elana was Nate's first friend in Michigan when they were introduced at his cousin Jake's house. She was always the easiest person to "bully" into staying up late playing board games with Marc and losing in Catan! Elana has unfortunately moved away from the SE Michigan area and left a hole in both Marc and Nate's board game hearts. We both still try to get her to move back as much as possible!
