Our Wedding

Nathan and Nicole first met in Tumon, Guam during their first deployment on August 9th, 2023. While waiting in the lobby of their hotel, Nathan would see Nicole in passing for the very first time. After doing so, Nathan turned to his friend Jerry and said: “Wow, I should have joined the Air Force.”

Love in Unexpected Places

The universe would draw Nathan and Nicole together again, causing the two to spend many of their days getting to know each other’s friends, going on walks in the Tumon Bay, and going on dinner dates. On August 19th, 2023, the two happily agreed to become a couple.

Joyful Beginnings

After leaving her deployment on August 26, 2023, Nicole would return home and immediately request a transfer from Shreveport, LA to Las Vegas, NV in order to focus on her career and her dedication to her relationship with Nathan by being stationed as close as possible to his ship’s home port.

Moving to “Greener” Pastures

On January 20th, 2024, Nathan would return to his home port of San Diego, CA, and was greeted by Nicole literally jumping into his arms the moment he stepped off the plane. After several months apart, the two were ready to pick up where they left off in Guam.

Homecoming

Nathan and Nicole remained inseparable, always ensuring time with each other and doing whatever necessary to be together no matter the cost and no matter how brief. Their travels would bring them closer together than they were to anyone or anything before.

Dedication

It had become abundantly clear that Nathan and Nicole had become more than just a couple. They had become inseparable best friends. With another deployment creeping up on the horizon, Nathan knew that there was one thing he needed to do before he went down range again.

Inseparable and Determined

On June 22nd, 2024, 8:41pm PST, Nathan and Nicole officially became engaged at the Hotel del Coronado while watching a classic California Sunset. The Chamorro spark that ignited their bond in August had become an inferno of passion and unwavering dedication towards each other.

Here’s to Forever

Upon the completion of both Nathan and Nicole’s second deployments, they eagerly await and plan meticulously for their wedding on November 23rd, 2025. Join us in celebrating the marriage of two souls who not only want to be together, but were undoubtedly forged for each other.
