After initially connecting through Zoom a couple of months earlier at a college Bible study group, we met in-person for the very first time over boba at Half & Half in Rowland Heights.

Our Bible study embarked on a group road trip to visit members of the fellowship who lived in NorCal. We were inseparable for the entire trip and our feelings for each other began to grow!

Following the NorCal road trip, our bond flourished as we continued to meet with each other regularly in the company of mutual friends throughout the summer.

Originally intended as a group outing to explore a new church, our plans unexpectedly transformed into our first one-on-one hangout after our mutual friend told us at the last-minute that he could not go with us. After attending church together, we grabbed a bite to eat at Chipotle across the street.

On this day, the two of us spent the entire day together hanging out with mutual friends. At night, we visited the 626 Night Market and had some dumplings and boba. Afterwards, we confessed our feelings to each other and began dating!

Our first date as a couple was spent visiting The Original Farmers Market, walking around The Grove, thrift shopping on Melrose Avenue, and eating burgers at Shake Shack.

After dating for a couple of months and meeting each other's families, we decided to become an official "boyfriend and girlfriend" over a date at Farmhouse in Corona Del Mar.

Our one-year anniversary was spent visiting Descanso Gardens, the Beachwood Cafe, and the Griffith Observatory.

Through a proposal inspired by the very 626 Night Market that marked the beginning of our relationship, we became engaged after nearly two years together as a couple.
