Spring Break of 2023 is where it all started! We had known of each other all of college and been around each other here and there, but this week was the first time we thought of each other a little more than acquaintances. This all started when we went on our church's spring break trip. Abby was asking some friends to come play card games one night. She asked Charlie Bailey to come play games with them, and Nathan was with him and she said "and you can come too Nathan!" So one night of playing nertz turned into hanging out playing card games every night of amplify. Through this we got to know a little more about each other, and recognized we really enjoyed spending time together. The next week Nathan called Abby and asked her on their first date.

This was our first date as girlfriend and boyfriend! This week Nathan asked Abby to be his girlfriend on March 27th, a day before her birthday. The best birthday gift! We celebrated with a fun date to Columbus, GA where we walked along river and went to a nice dinner!

One of our favorite spring activities was working on puzzles together. We would sit there for hours, not speaking a word to each other as worked, but just enjoyed each others company! We will be great old people together, one day!

This date will forever will be one of our favorite dates! Abby spontaneously texted Nathan the night before and said "Let's go watch the sunrise at lake martin tomorrow." So the next morning Nathan picked Abby up around 4:30 am for the drive to the Lake Martin fire tower. We went for a hike, saw a beautiful sunrise, and got a fancy waffle house breakfast. It was the best start to the day!

Nathan graduated!! But thank goodness he is a nerd and decided to stick around Auburn for 4 more years of school!

Abby got to come home from camp for a couple days to celebrate her cousin's engagement! We got to spend the Fourth of July together with friends and family. This trip was extra special because it was the first time we had seen each other in two months!

A summer of long distance meant lots of face time calls! With Abby not having her phone all week, while she was at camp, we were able to keep up on the ins and outs of life through many hours of face time on the weekends.

Nathan came to camp! Abby took her off night on Friday, so we went on a date to all her favorite places in Columbus, TX. Right after this picture was taken, we had our first talk about where our relationship was headed.

First hometown trip to Huntsville! Abby got to go home with Nathan for the first time. We went to one of Nathan's favorite hiking trails, favorite restaurants (aka Little Rosie's), spent some quality time with his family, and see all the places that were important to him.

Most every weekend in the fall consisted of Auburn football. We traveled to Nashville, Baton Rouge, and College Station all for the sake of Auburn football. We bonded over a love for Auburn sports, a deep hatred for Alabama, and hopefully one day raising a new generation of Auburn fans! There will be many more days in Jordan Hare Stadium in our future!

This was one of our favorite trips we have taken together! We went out to College Station for the Auburn v.s. Texas A&M football game, but then we got to spend a day in Austin with Charlie! We spent our last day kayaking throughout downtown Austin.

Our first holiday season together! Nathan came to Mobile to see Abby for the week before Christmas. We got to go see Christmas lights, exchange Christmas gifts, decorate cookies, and all the other holiday festivities! Looking forward to many many holiday together to come!

We got to go to the beach for the weekend to watch Nathan's brothers play basketball! We enjoyed lots of walks together and spending time with family! Abby is quickly becoming more of a basketball fan day by day.

THE DAY WE GOT ENGAGED!!! A perfect day that even the rain could not ruin! What a special day this was reflecting on our love for each other, and the abundant love and blessings that Christ has first given us! Our favorite part was celebrating with so many of our friends and family whom we love so much!!!
