From Nathan's point of view:
I have known Zoe for as long as I can remember. She has always been special to me. To me - it's always been a WOW! This girl is absolutely stunning and I like her a lot kind of situation. Our friend groups have always been the same. I remember working so hard to catch her in a conversation, or save a seat for her next to me at church. I remember how excited I was to lead a camp team with her, and how nervous I was to find out that she was taking my senior pictures.
 
In college, Zoe and I grew closer than ever through quizlet links, snow days, and James River Kids projects. One day, I locked my keys in my apartment on purpose, so that Zoe would drive me in her car the next day. What was already a strong friendship began to grow into something more. I was absolutely ecstatic, and I was already thinking VERY long-term.
 
In December of 2022, we talked about how we felt. The next 6 months was a blast, as we looked for any and every excuse to spend time together. We started dating in May, and I am beyond grateful for all the wonderful moments that we have spent together. We laugh every single day, and always seem to find new things to love together. Life is better with Zoe Linn!
 
From Zoe's point of view:
I have known Nathan ever since I was little, and he has ALWAYS been kind, hilarious, fun to be around, and just the best person ever.
As we got older, we always ended up on the same camp teams, in the same friend groups, and at the same birthday parties. Every life group, birthday party, camp week, and friend hangout was 100x better if he was there. I always did what I could to see if he would be there or not. One time, we led a retreat team together, so it was only necessary for us to go just the two of us to party city to collect all of the things we needed for our camp team cheer... I remember feeling like we were going on a date. We always had the most fun together, and I always knew that there was something special about our relationship.
Over time our friendship was always there, even if it meant we only talked every once in a while. In college, we got a lot closer and became even better friends. Any opportunity to hang out, we did. Sophomore year, I told Nathan's sister, Mary, that I had had feelings for Nathan for a while. She took matters into her own hands. Before I knew it, I was helping him paint his house with friends and we were spending time together more often.
Nathan told me he had feelings for me, and for the next 6 months, we waited to date since staff (Nathan) was not allowed to date students (Me).
In May we started dating and it has been perfect ever since. There has never been a day we have had together where we haven't laughed and shared fun memories, and I am so thankful for him. He is the biggest blessing to me and the best friend I have ever had.
