Q + A

Is the Ceremony and Reception at the Same Place?

Yes, both the ceremony and reception will take place at Journeyman Distillery in Valparaiso, Indiana in the East Room.

What Time is the Wedding?

The ceremony will begin at 4 pm. Cocktails, dinner, and dancing will follow.

How Do I RSVP?

You can click the RSVP tab above and RSVP anytime before August 31st.

When Do I RSVP By?

Please RSVP by August 31st.

What Happens If I Don't RSVP in Time?

If we do not get an RSVP back by the date which we have provided, it will be marked "no." We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide total guest counts to the venue in a timely manner. Due to this we cannot accept late RSVP's - this means there will be no seating, food, or drink accommodation for you - we hope that you understand!

What If I Can't Make It?

Your presence will surely be missed! Please RSVP "Regretfully Decline," so that we can plan accordingly. If you have RSVP'd attending, but find that you can no longer make it, please notify Olivia Farwell.

What Time Should I Arrive?

Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to park and find your seat.

Can I Bring a Date/+1?

As we have a strict guest to stay within our venue's capacity, we can only accommodate those listed on your specific invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Can We Bring Our Children?

While we could love to see your kiddos, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only event. We hope you understand and can enjoy a fun date night!

Can I Take Pictures?

We are having an 'unplugged' ceremony. This means we are asking all phones and other devices be put away and on silent/turned off during our ceremony so that all guests can be 100% present with us during this time. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want!

Is there a Dress Code?

Yes, we would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting a formal dress code. Please refrain from wearing white or shades of white - let the bride have her day!

Where Should I Park?

There is a parking lot on site behind the main building as well as across the street from the main building.

Will There Be an Open Bar?

Yes, the drinks are on us - get ready to celebrate!

Where Should I Stay for the Wedding Weekend?

We thank you wholeheartedly for traveling to celebrate with us! Please visit our "Travel" tab to see hotels in the area. Those listed with a block option are offering a discounted rate - see "Travel" tab for more details.
