During December in San Diego, the average low temperature is 51°F (11°C), and the average high temperature is 66°F (19°C). Sunset is predicted to be at 4:42pm on the wedding day. The cocktail hour is the only part of the schedule that occurs outdoors, and there will be heaters at the Banyan Lawn and Court. If it rains, the cocktail hour will be moved to the Regatta Pavilion. The Regatta Pavilion has heating and air conditioning.

The Hyatt Regency Mission Bay has self-parking and valet parking available. Any self-parking will be paid for by Nathan and Denise. There is also free street parking as you continue west on Quivira Road. The street parking may actually be closer to the Banyan Lawn and Court and the Regatta Pavilion, where the reception will take place. Guests may be dropped off at the front entrance and lobby before parking.

There will be signs and people able to direct you at the front entrance and lobby of the hotel.

The dinner will be buffet style, including soup, salad, protein (steak and salmon), vegetables, pasta, and sides (rice and potatoes). There should be something for everyone, but guests are encouraged to include any food allergies or dietary restrictions on their RSVP. Small children will be served pre-selected dinners. There will be an open bar during cocktail hour and after dinner. During dinner, there will be a wine service and a champagne toast. There will be multiple cake flavors and a boba bar for dessert.
