“She was mine before she was yours” Debra’s favorite line. Yes, Debra was Kara’s 8th grade teacher. If only that little shy girl in the corner knew her favorite teacher was going to be her future mother in law! It all started when that young girl’s eyes fell on Nathan for the first time, instant crush! Well that was all before high school. Fast forward to Junior year, Nathan’s senior year, the 2 had business classes together and were involved in Deca. (Thank you Ms.Risher!) Nathan was president of Deca and helped in business classes, of which Kara, being the hopeless romantic she was, would ask for “help” on her assignments. Fast forward to Deca competition… where things got serious for little miss Kara. All it took was to ask for help tying a tie, of which Nathan had no idea how to do, and she was head over heels.
