Back in 2018 Nathan was working at Noah's Ark (the local animal hospital), and Kerri was working at Emma's bakery (Chmuras), which happen to be in the same plaza. Nate would visit in the morning to get his 2 chocolate frosted donuts (never with sprinkles though!). The Sunday before Thanksgiving Kerri was out doing a winery hopping trip with her mom and Meredith, and Nate was doing his yearly Chowhounds event with the guys, by chance both ending up at the same local bar (out of Palmers many) in town to end their nights. All it took was a beer, and some conversation, they soon recognized each other and decided to exchange numbers. A few months, and many dates later, they knew the love they had for each other and decided to take a chance. Since then, they have traveled to many different places, including Lake George NY, Old Orchard Beach ME, York Beach ME, Myrtle Beach, Vegas (to name a few), and all over the Caribbean on their favorite cruise vacations, and to many country concerts. February of 2022 Nathan decided he wanted to spend forever with Kerri and popped the question out of the blue in her bedroom both getting ready for bed, right before they were getting ready to leave for vacation. As if wedding planning wasn't going to be enough for them, May of 2023 they decided they wanted to start another new chapter in their life and become homeowners in one of the craziest markets. After getting turned down for house after house, September they were finally able to sign the papers and officially became homeowners, and in debt for the next 30 years of their lives. Now comes their next favorite day of their lives, the day they say I DO, the reason you are all reading this, all because of 2 chocolate frosted donuts.
