Is the reception held at the same place as the ceremony?
Yes! Once you arrive, you do not need to leave until the celebration is over.
Is parking available at the wedding?
Yes! There will be two parking lot attendants to assist with where to park, but there will be plenty of free parking.
Will the wedding be indoors?
The wedding is planned to be both indoors and outdoors! The ceremony is expected to be outside and the reception will be inside.
What will the weather be like?
Probably on the warmer side. I would recommend to pack light layers. The venue is in the mountains so the temperature should be cooler than inland. There's no AC or fans at the venue, but lots of shade and trees.
What is the dress code?
Formal. The Bride and Groom ask that the guests attend in formal attire.
What colors should I avoid wearing?
The Bride and Groom kindly request guests not to wear the wedding colors as well as white or solid black. Only the Bride will be wearing white, and guests should not wear all black to avoid looking like they're attending a funeral. This is a joyous occasion! The wedding colors are burgundy and navy blue.
What is the terrain like - gravel, grass, concrete?
The venue is mostly grass with a few gravel walkways. The venue is maintained frequently with great attention. I believe the grounds will be fine for all shoe types.
What time should I arrive?
You may arrive as early as 2:00PM. I invite you to! The venue is gorgeous, huge, and has cute animals to admire. The venue is snuggled between two mountains covered in pine trees.
What time will the wedding be over?
9:00PM, last call will be at 8:45PM.
Are kids welcome?
The Bride and Groom prefer to keep the kid head count to a minimum. There is expected to be fun partying and no guarantees of proper behavior for children.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
The Bride and Groom are doing their best to keep that in mind when planning the dinner and dessert menu. They feel confident that most diet restrictions will be accommodated.
What if I have difficulty moving around?
If you need any assistance navigating the venue, please reach out to the Bride or Groom. They have coordinated a golf cart for those with ADA requirements.
Can I bring a plus one?
Invitations will specify if a plus one is permitted. If your invitation does not specify, then please reach out to the Bride or Groom.
Is it open bar?
Yes! There will be beer, red wine, and two signature cocktails.
Do I need to tip the bartender?
No, the bartenders have already been tipped for their services but you are more than welcome to tip them via cash or Venmo.
What should I do if I drink too much and can't drive home?
You are invited to leave your vehicle overnight at the venue and coordinate with someone else to stay at a nearby hotel or sleep over at someone's house. I highly recommend browsing the recommended hotels or AirBnbs.
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home - see return address on your invitation. A wedding card box will be at our reception.
Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
Yes, immediately after the ceremony will begin cocktail hour at the cabana bar. Please enjoy the mobile mule bar as well!
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Yes, but please do not take photos during the ceremony. Our photographers will be hard at work, and the Bride and Groom would like all the guests to enjoy the moment. You are invited to leave your cell phone in your car as well. The venue is private property, nestled in the mountains.
