Our training timelines for the military are dictating when we are able to have a wedding ceremony, so we had to work it into a specific period of time. By the time we were able to predict that period of time with any hopeful accuracy, there were not many venues with weekend availability. Therefore, a Monday was our most-available and reasonably-priced option. We picked October 14 because it is a federal holiday, so hopefully that will allow you our guests to have more availability than you otherwise would on a normal Monday. We understand this is not convenient for a lot of people, and we understand if that affects your ability to make it there. However, if you're able to come, you're very welcome to.

If you consider yourself to be in an established relationship (serious boyfriend/girlfriend/engaged/married), by all means, bring your partner along! We would love to meet them. Just let us know they're coming. Otherwise, we would prefer it were just you. :)

Children are welcomed but given travel requirements we are not expecting them, so just please let us know how many are coming.

We are so thankful just to have you coming so far to be at our wedding! That being said, if you do decide to honor us with a gift, please send it to the address provided on the invitation and programmed into our registry. There will be a card box at the reception but we would prefer not to have to play Tetris with our cars.

If you need a label, consider it "Dressy Casual", but we're really not picky so long as you're dressed appropriately for a family affair :) Something to consider, though, is that the ceremony is entirely outdoors and the reception partially so. Dress for the weather and wear shoes that you don't mind taking for a walk in the grass.

Yes, there is ample parking at the event barn.

We have the less-preferable ability to move the ceremony indoors. Nobody will be melting on our watch.

We really really hope that doesn't have to happen... BUT if it does, we are only working with venues and hotels that will be flexible with refunds or date changes and we recommend that you do the same when making your travel plans. If any changes to our plans are necessary, we should hopefully know at least a couple of months in advance and you will be notified immediately.

No, no you cannot. There will be a card bar at the reception, but if you try to bring outside alcohol onto the property you will be cast out and fined heavily by the venue.
