In June 2021, Nathan headed to work like normal and to his surprise the CHS inventory team can in the door that day. He did not know it but there was a new CHS inventory team member named Kianna. After the inventory was complete he noted Kianna's name and was set to see her again. Nathan followed her adventures she shared on Instagram and little by little began to get to know her more.

Four-in-a-half months later a date was set and this would be the second time Nathan and Kianna would see each other. He drove from Clarkston, WA to Spokane, WA and knocked on her door. He was greeted with the biggest hug he had ever received in his life. They drove to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho for a pizza dinner, a hike around Tubbs Hill, and ice skating in the park. As they drove back to Kianna's after their date Nathan looked over and told her in the car "I wish I would have met you sooner."

They are two peas in a pod and love to spend time doing just about anything together. There is not a shortage of smiles and laughs when they are together.

On August 5, 2023, Nathan and Kianna got engaged at Ice Lake near Joesph, Oregon during a 15.5 round-trip hike accompanied by his Mom, Stephanie, Dad, Kevin, and steam-engine brother, Austin, who was carrying the precious cargo-the engagement ring-in his backpack the whole trip.

(He was in it for the whole adventure, no turning back!)

Nathan, Kianna, and Austin arrived at Ice Lake and Nathan set his camera up for a group photo in front of the Lake. He got down on one knee and looked Kianna in the eyes and said "Your my best friend and I want to marry you!" She said "Yes!!! I want to marry you too!" The three of them spend the next 7.5 or so miles smiling and reminiscing in the excitement of the engagement in addition to the pain they were feeling in their legs and feet. They were greeted by Stephanie and Kevin when they emerged from the wilderness and Kianna had a new sparkle on her finger! All five of them enjoyed an incredible meal in Joesph and headed back to Clarkston, WA that evening.

Nathan and Kianna are beyond excited to celebrate their wedding with you on October 5, 2024 as they begin their new adventure of life together, MARRIED! <3
