Kat:
I moved back to Illinois in 2021 and one day I noticed Nate liked my picture on instagram and requested to follow me. I remembered him from Jr. High and High School. Somehow, I just knew I would eventually get a message from him. Months went by, and I started getting really impatient! I liked one of his pictures and got a Facebook friend request moments later…I knew I would get a message… then he sent me an invite to a thanksgiving party and I waited 30min and responded yes! He waited 30min and I got a message from him, finally! We started talking, had our first date 2days later and have been inseparable ever since! The moment I saw him walking towards me I felt so calm, and I just knew this was going to be a very important moment!

Nate:
I noticed a photo Kat put on a social media site and couldn’t help but scroll back up. Her smile was too irresistible not too. I of course had to like the photo. Our future started there.
I finally got some courage and confidence to ask her to a party I had been planning and she was the only person that replied she was going. My thoughts yet again dreamt of that irresponsible smile.
Since she was the only attendant I decided to call off the party but decided to ask Kat to go for or a drink. We talked and laughed the night away. We shared stories of where we’ve been and the trials and joys of what life has brought us to that point. That very night looking into her eyes I knew she was someone truly special…someone truly and uniquely beautiful. She truly amazed me with every word she spoke.
We started to date and I fell more and more in love with her and all she was and all she did.
One day I went to talk with my mother while she was with us on the earth. We talked about the usual of what’s going on with life and job and as usual what’s going on in Nate’s world of love. At this time my mother knew I was dating Kat for sometime now. I remember when I was leaving she hugged me and said to me “Nate she’s the one”. I walked away from that truly feeling the words of my mother. From that day I planned the moment I’d ask her to be my wife.
I asked and she said yes!!

True love…true fate has a way to bring people together in perfect harmony. We find our perfection in each other. At moments out of tune but still in perfect harmony.

Kat:
After our first date I literally danced into work to teach my sunrise yoga class! I told my whole class about my the amazing date I went on the night before! 3 hours of sleep and I was like giddy! The moment I looked into his eyes and he smiled I felt something I never felt before, I still struggle to put it into words. I was smitten! I came over the next day and never left, lol.There was just something about Nate. It didn’t take very long to realize that he felt like home. I knew he was the one when I started thinking of him every time I heard a love song. It was like I had found my other half! He is truly my best friend, my better half and the love of my life! I’m so grateful everyday that I have such an incredible man!
