I (Nathaniel) had been looking for my future wife for a long time, but God hadn’t brought her to me yet. Then, in May of 2023, a new, nice girl named Cherish started coming to our young adults Bible study. I noticed her immediately, and although I tried to suppress the feelings, I couldn’t stop thinking about her. We started talking the next week, and we talked every week throughout the summer. Her house was almost across the street from the Bible study, so I often walked her home. On September 13, 2023, I was in a bad accident that totaled my car, but God protected me. That night, I told Cherish I liked her, and she said she liked me too. Things progressed rapidly from there, and we started dating on October 5. Since then, we’ve been through lots of ups and downs, but God has been faithful and helped us both grow a lot. Finally, on April 5 of this year, I asked Cherish to be my wife, and she said yes! We’re looking forward to seeing how God uses us as a team for Him to impact the world.
