If these are not of interest to you, there are ample hotels in the area as well as many AirBnb's or VRBOs!
Easily accessible in the city, this will likely be a reliable way to get around town quickly without having to worry about parking a car.
DC is home to one of the country's premier public transportation systems. While in town, take advantage of the great service to get throughout the city and even to VA or MD for only a few dollars. The RED LINE station shown above will be closest the venue and many of the suggested hotels for the wedding. It is also home to one of the longest escalators in the Western Hemisphere.
Those who need to drive cars to the venue will be able to. Parking is available in the venue's garage for $13 per day on weekends. There are additional garages in the area, in case the building one is full as well.
One of the most fun ways to get around town freely, electric scooters are readily available around the city, for slight cost (typically $1 unlock and 40-50 cents per minute). REMEMBER TO BE CAREFUL RIDING THEM.
This is the closest airport to the venue. This airport offers affordable prices to get into town on either the DC Metro via Blue or Yellow Lines or Uber/Lyft.
Airport is a bit further out of town, but is an option to fly into. To get into DC, it will likely include a more expensive Uber/Lyft ride, or a coordinated trip on the Amtrak train.
Large airport more used for long haul flights is the furthest of the three DC area airports. However, it is directly connected to downtown DC via the Silver Line for only $5. Other options to get into town include Uber/Lyft or a dedicated taxi.
If you live within distance of an Amtrak rail, I recommend trying it! This is one of Ned's favorite ways to travel the northeast corridor during his business trips to North NJ and NYC. Once you arrive, the first thing you are greeted with outside in the U.S. Capitol dome. A taxi or Uber/Lyft can take you across town to our venue, or you can continue the train journey by taking the red line Metro train straight to Dupont Circle. This is also an option for those flying into BWI airport as a cheaper way into DC compared to ride sharing.
