Welcome to our love story!  
   
It’s funny how life takes us on unexpected paths, weaving in and out of the people who shape our journey. Matthew and I first crossed paths in high school—bright-eyed and full of dreams. Our fling was brief, yet there was always that spark. Fast forward nearly 20 years, and what do you know? We both found ourselves single, and something deep inside encouraged us to take a leap of faith.  
   

We met for dinner, and those hours flew by as if we were two old friends catching up after a lifetime apart. It didn’t take long for me to realize that this easy-going guy with the big heart was someone special. Our conversation flowed effortlessly, and that instant attraction I felt years ago reignited like a flame that had never truly gone out.   
   

As our relationship blossomed, we discovered the joy of simple pleasures, like golfing under the sun or tackling DIY projects together. There’s something wonderfully grounding about building and creating with someone who shares your vision. Together, I feel independent yet supported, determined yet relaxed, and completely protective of our little family.  
   

Then came that magical moment when Matthew surprised me with the most unforgettable proposal on a boat along the Chicago River. Surrounded by our closest friends, we celebrated our love under the city lights—a perfect moment that felt like a dream.  

     
As we look toward our future, our shared hopes are clear: to grow old together, hand in hand, while embracing every twist and turn life throws our way. With Rowen now filling our lives with even more joy, we are excited for all the beautiful moments ahead.
