Our story kicked off in the most unexpected way—over a game of pool on a warm evening in the Dominican Republic. What started as friendly competition (okay, maybe a little trash talk…and a little bit of cheating on Neha's part because, let’s be real, she’s terrible at pool) quickly turned into something more. Who knew that a bit of pool hustling could lead to a connection like this?

Neha:

On Dimitar's last day in the DR, we took a boat trip that gave us the perfect chance to chat, laugh, and realize just how much we clicked. Then came the legendary moment: in a spectacular display of clumsiness, Dimitar managed to knock my phone straight into the ocean. An unforgettable mishap, for sure—but it meant we spent the entire evening talking under the stars. It was as if the world around us disappeared, and we found ourselves exactly where we were meant to be.

Dimitar:

Back home, I couldn’t stop thinking about Neha. Armed with nothing more than the fact that she was "somewhere in the GTA," I hopped in my car and drove down from Montreal, determined to find her. Who needs an exact address when you’ve got…well, determination?

Neha:

Since then, he’s been racking up some serious mileage on that Montreal-Toronto route, because no distance could keep us apart.
