I switched from the early morning shift to swing in January, 2017. That’s when I noticed there was a very pretty hostess and so I had to get to know her. I was way too shy to just go up and talk to her, though. After a few weeks I just started silently helping her out with her closing responsibilities. Soon enough I was talking to her more and I invited her out to eat after our work. By this point, all of our coworkers knew that I liked her and they teased us often.

A breakfast date, a hiking date, and a Circus Circus date later I finally asked her to be my girlfriend!

I began working at the GSR in 2016 during the holidays. Everyone seemed so nice especially this guy who would help me clean and go a little bit above and beyond. Despite everyone telling me that there was no way Eric would work that hard if he didn't want something, I continued to believe that he was just really really nice. One day after work, Eric took me to Wingstop and after then my suspicions of him wanting something further grew. After several dates without it being official he finally asked me to be his girlfriend. From that moment it started this journey that only gets better each day.

Bruno, our Border Collie mix, was born on November 3, 2021. In his short three years, he’s been a handful at times, but he’s also filled our lives with countless moments of joy. From celebrating milestones to simply being by our side, Bruno's presence in our little family is truly cherished and never goes unnoticed.
