Our Wedding

OUR WEDDING DAY

Our wedding will not be structured as a traditional wedding. We wanted our special day to be free flowing so that we can visit, mingle, and interact with our guests as much as possible. It's not every day that all of our favorite people are in one place. We will kick off the reception with a few heartwarming speeches and a prayer before the dinner hour commences. From there, guests can feel free to grab a plate of food, hang out by the bar, or start warming up the dance floor. There will be no assigned seating, couple dances, or cake cutting.

Wedding Day 

#15 for Seton Hill University

Brett and Nellie met at Seton Hill University where they both played on their respective lacrosse teams. Coincidentally enough, they both wore number 15. Brett and Nellie met in 2015, but didn't became a couple until 2019 when Brett was a senior, and Nellie was finishing off her MBA. Relative to the red string theory, it was evident that they were bound to be together at the end of their college career. From dealing with long distance, to both of their crazy schedules, the two have found plenty of time to fit in trips in both Calgary and Pittsburgh, weekend stints to Denver for game days, and eventually find a home together. In October 2024 things got serious when the two moved in together to a house in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, close to where it all began!

Sherri is Nellie's older sister. As a typical eldest child, she has been keeping Nellie in check since day one. Nellie was her Maid of Honor back in 2012. Time for Sherri to return the favor!

Jake and Brett met when they played on the same hockey team together at the age of 12 and have been best friends ever since.

Robbie is Nellie's twin brother. From taking their first steps together, to living in a college house, it only makes sense for him to be by her side on her wedding day.

Grady is Brett's cousin. They grew up together playing hockey against each other, riding dirt bikes, and causing ruckus on the farm.

Michael is the youngest of the Phillips clan. As a typical baby of the family, he had no choice but to be by Nellie's side on her special day. :)

Tyler is Brett's youngest cousin. The best hockey player of the three, was also apart of the fun on the farm.

Brandon is Nellie's brother-in-law. He has been around since she was 12. He will be officiating the ceremony.
