Welcome to our wedding website, please&nbsp;take a moment to browse and don't forget the tabs at the top that link&nbsp;to other useful pages. Here follows a few words about us and how we met, all beautifully&nbsp;written in the third person!&nbsp;We hope you enjoy.

Nerissa and Jason first crossed paths on a night out in London's City. Each celebrating their friends birthdays...in the same bar! 









Soon to be ‘matchmaker’&nbsp;Lamees&nbsp;was chatting to Jason and happily she made the introduction, the rest as they say, is history! Jason had his eye on Nerissa from the moment he saw her strutting her stuff on the dance floor and they talked and danced all night long until dawn.











After the initial chance encounter they would spend weeks sending lengthy texts back and forth, mainly as Nerissa does not like taking phone calls! 











When the time came to have their first date they decided to meet one evening after work. Over a quiet coffee and a pot of earl grey sparks flew as they realised just how compatible they were and the start of something so wonderful began. We also learned unpitted olives are not the ideal first date snack! 











Their relationship has grown and blossomed and after Nerissa cooked Jason a rather sublime chocolate torte he decided that she truly was the one. Despite many medical textbooks on his bookshelf stating the contrary, it does transpire the stomach is the most direct route to the heart after all. He proposed on March the 4th 2017 at their home after a day at the petting zoo and it was announced to family and friends that evening.











Their wedding represents the very beginnings of their next chapter, a lifetime of love and adventure awaits!

Nerissa's Mum. Throughout the years, she&nbsp;has&nbsp;always been by her side. Jennifer's interest in gardening&nbsp;has inspired Nerissa to do some of her own!&nbsp;Nerissa couldn’t have wished for&nbsp;a better mother to look up to.

Jennifer Layton

Jason's Mum, and the best mum he could have hoped for. Loving, smart&nbsp;and supporting.&nbsp; He&nbsp;hopes the apple hasn't fallen far from the tree! She is an avid Liverpool fan, just like her sons and will happily talk tactics!

Janet Lancashire

Nerissa's dad, he has taught&nbsp;her all she knows about being a hands on practical&nbsp;person. He is also partly responsible for her quirky sense of humour!

Felix Afonso

The not so little little-brother and a Maths teacher without the elbow patches. Jason's original partner in crime, shares all his charm and good looks&nbsp;(ha!). &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Samie Hill 

Jonelle is Nerissa's favourite sister, ok only sister, but still her favourite! Nerissa loves&nbsp;Jonelle's company especially since she turned 18 years old.

Jonelle Afonso

Kumaran (or Kum&nbsp;as he's affectionately known, and yes it's okay to call him this!) is a&nbsp;fine and upstanding gentleman, doctor and pillar of society. Jason really doesn't have a bad word to say about him. This is nothing to do with the fact that he will be giving&nbsp;'the speech'. Obvs&nbsp;

Kumaran Ganesh

Nerissa and Jonelle's dearest friend. The three of them&nbsp;have&nbsp;shared many fun times&nbsp;together&nbsp;through&nbsp;out the years. Kind, compassionate and a social butterfly... She is&nbsp;also the matchmaker&nbsp;!

Lamees Shafi

Beautiful bridesmaid and also&nbsp;Jason's sister (and&nbsp;much cooler than him!) Nerissa loves chatting to Sophie about T.V. shows...the main&nbsp;one being Supernatural.&nbsp;Nerissa is extremely jealous&nbsp;that Sophie got to meet the Winchester brothers!!

Sophie Lancashire

Jason's snowboarding prodigy and good friend Nelly.&nbsp;The man who has been to more weddings than you can shake a stick at will be the one to go to if anyone has a problem on our big day, but don't make this the only reason you talk to him!&nbsp;

Nehul (Nelly) Patel

Pete (as with Kum&nbsp;and Nelly) has&nbsp;been best&nbsp;buddies&nbsp;with Jason&nbsp;since University. He is the go to man for sports trivia and&nbsp;is always happy&nbsp;to share a beer. If he can remember anything about it, ask him about their holiday to Cuba!

By car 

Hampton Court House postcode is KT8 9BS. It is just off the&nbsp;A308 and Hampton Court Palace&nbsp;is well signposted from all the major local roads; drivers should follow the brown tourist attraction road signs towards the Palace and its just around the corner from there!&nbsp;











Hampton Court House has parking for up to 40 cars on site and plenty of public parking nearby.











By train











35 minutes from London Waterloo – calling at Vauxhall, Clapham Junction, Earlsfield, Wimbledon, Raynes Park, New Malden, Berrylands, Surbiton and Thames Ditton before arriving at Hampton Court.











Trains run every half an hour.











You could also get a train to Kingston and then a bus (111, 216 or 411) from there to Hampton Court Gardens. Or a train to Richmond and the R68 bus to Hampton Court.











Plan your journey using the Tfl journey planner or google maps.&nbsp;











Hampton Court is in Zone 6 and you can use Oyster Pay as You Go on trains to Hampton Court.











Riverboat 











Riverboats run&nbsp;from Westminster, Richmond-upon-Thames and Kingston-upon-Thames. Its a lovely way to travel but takes a while! Please check before travelling.











From London Airports











From Heathrow Airport – take the 111 bus or it is not far in a taxi.











From Gatwick Airport – take a train from the airport station to Clapham Junction and change to the Hampton Court train.

A 5-minute walk from the wedding venue, 3 minutes to Hampton Court Palace and a 4-minute walk from Hampton Court train station, with regular and direct trains into central London.&nbsp;

Riverboat 













Riverboats run from Westminster, Richmond-upon-Thames and Kingston-upon-Thames. The journey from Westminster can take up to 4 hours (!), depending on the tides so check before traveling.
