Well we officially met when we were teens when Nettie’s brother (Aaron) first brought Raiden to the Baylor house. All Nettie could think was “who is this goofy tall guy?” Little did we know just 5 years later we would start dating.

Now let’s just say…there were hints. Before we dated Raiden was finishing up college life in Dallas. He’d visit Victoria about once a month. Now even though Aaron no longer lived at the Baylor household for some reason Raiden found an excuse to always visit the Baylor’s on his visits to Victoria.

After moving back to Victoria it didn’t take him long to ask nettie out. Our official first date was at Jim’s big burger. We tried to eat somewhere far fancier however…who knew you had to check to see if places were still open? So we decided a Jim’s big burger was perfect.

Now before we officially started dating we had visited sonic several times. It became our spot. Anytime we were thirsty, wanted to talk or just had a long day that’s where we went. Sweet tea and sonic just became our thing and still is.

After 7 1/2 LONG months Raiden finally popped the question ( ok I didn’t have to wait that long but it felt like forever!) we’re so excited to start this new chapter together and to raise our own family in the image and teaching of Christ. Through everything we’re so greatfull God brought us together and pray he continues to use us to glorify and honor him.
