Our Wedding

Both of us attended Tehachapi High school. Paxton graduated in 2022 and Nevaeh Graduated a year later in 2023. We had the same classes, and even spent time with the same people; However we never noticed each other. It wasn't until February of 2024 did we meet officially. Both of us were invaded to church by our good friend, and Paxton's Best Man, Carson Uhl. Paxton never showed up to church, but he was able to find some time in his busy schedule to make it to lunch afterwards (phew).

The day we met (Officially)

Our first official date was in March of 2024. We bought Albertsons brand premade sushi and had planned on eating at a park, but the rain changed our plans. We drove to Paxton's work at the time (TKs) to eat our sushi. Afterwards Paxton drove me to a pond that forms at the bottom of a hill at his parents house so we could listen to the frogs croaking. Because we were so close to his home already we drove up to his parents house and I sat in his living room while he helped his dad move a refrigerator out of their kitchen. I met his entire family that day. He really dove in head first with the romance.

Our first date

Our first kiss was in Pismo California. We had went on a weekend trip with a few of our friends. We had gotten done playing in the water and spending time on the beach all day. We were sitting on the patio of ours and our friends hotel room watching the ocean. Right before we decided to go inside Nevaeh asked Paxton if she could kiss him. He basically jumped out of his chair barely letting me finish my sentence. Paxton asked me to be his girlfriend two days after we had our first kiss.

On November 27, 2024 we woke up while on a camping trip in Boulder Creek planning to go on a hike in Alabama Hills. The truck that we had planned on taking broke down and would not start. While we were finally able to jumpstart the truck, the truck that we used to fix it also broke down. While the people that we were camping with were stressed out about trying to fix the trucks, I told Paxton "It's okay if we stay back to make room because we only have one truck." He looked at me like I had said the most rancid thing heard by man. He assured me with some attitude that the trucks would be fixed. I didn't understand why it was such a big deal (whatever dude). We finally got the trucks to work and made our way to Alabama Hills. We had to go to a different area than we had planned because it was closed. The area that we explored was just beautiful! We were walking around and I noticed that his brother was pointing his phone at us from a rock high above where we were standing. I told Paxton a few minutes prior that this would be a perfect place to propose. I didn't think much of his brother. Paxton told me to take a picture of the mountain that were were looking at. While I was taking the picture I though "That would be so cool if i turned around and he was on his knee." and when I turned around, he was on his knee. He then asked me to be his wife, and I said yes!
