It was a tough time… The world was dealing with Covid, and we were adjusting to being single parents. However, fate has brought us together. We both went out of our comfort zones to meet each other. 

We met on the internet and talked for a few days before deciding to meet. With the world on lockdown, we couldn’t go out and had a nice dinner. Instead Brian decided to ask Ngoc over for dinner. Before that date, she did extensive background searches on him. On that date, he was doing all the cooking even though he wasn’t sure she would actually show up. Due to a clear background checked, she did come over and our first date was a home cooked meal at the house we are sharing now. As soon as he first met her, he struggled to keep his eyes off her. The food was great but the company we had was everything. Before she left, he asked to have a hug and was already hoping to see her again. After dinner, they still decided to talk to each other. 

The next couple days we met again to go hiking. Fast forward a couple months later and he introduced her to camping. As time went on and we were sure of our connection, we slowly introduced each other to the kids. While we were nervous the kids may not get along, they quickly began referring to each other as family 🥰🥰. Over the last few years we have loved cooking together, traveling together, and building our future together. Can’t wait for a new chapter ahead of us with more joy, fun, laughter and travel together😍🥰⛺️🌊🏝️🏖️
