Since it is more of a party / celebration vs. a formal reception it will be more casual. We would like you to have fun and celebrate with us on the start of our new chapter. The ceremony will be on the beach so you can wear something nice but shoes will be optional 👠👡👢. The cocktail hour and celebration will be follow. It will an informal setting in a tiki bar restaurant so the dress code will be casual.

Since it’s on the beach and right at the boardwalk, parking can be difficult and it’s all meter parking. However, if you choose to stay at Atlantic Sands Hotel, parking is included with one vehicle per room. Some hotels may not include parking or charge an additional fee. Please check with the hotel you are staying at. There are also public parking nearby.

Yes, we have a hotel room block reserved at Atlantic Sands Hotel in Delaware. Please call their Front Desk at 302-227-2511 and mention booking ID number: 11069 for a 20% discount. Please specify room type when booking. Please note, it is a 2 nights stay minimum. We are staying July 25-29.

Our ceremony will start exactly at 6pm. So if you would be able to make it between 5:15-5:45 pm, it would be great. If you come early, the bar at the restaurant where we will celebrate after the ceremony will be opened. You can have couple drinks before head down to the ceremony. Please note: our open bar won’t be opened until 6:30pm so if you want to order drinks early, you can but you have to pay for it 😃

Several appetizers will be passed around followed by buffet style meat, seafood and lo-mein stations.

No, and you do not have to stay overnight if you do not want to. Keep in mind the event is 6-10:30PM. See the travel page for a list of nearby hotels and campgrounds within a 40 minute radius. Also feel free to stay anywhere not on the list.
