Nia and Cameron first met in a Dystopian Visions class during their Freshman year of college in the Fall of 2015. Nia only knew Cameron as the "quiet guy who sat in the back corner and knew all the answers to the professor's questions" and Cameron only knew Nia as the "quiet, reserved girl on the opposite end of the classroom." They didn't talk much other than the typical "hi" when passing each other around campus for the next two years. Then on October 10, 2017, they reconnected over their mutual disliking of Physics, and the "rest is history".... :P

Cameron came to visit Nia during their Winter Break and met her family for the first time. <3

Once Nia graduated and moved back to Maryland, they dated long-distance (4 hours) from Maryland and Pennsylvania for 3 years. During that time, in 2020, Nia and Cameron spent 8 months unable to visit in person due to COVID-19 :(
