It all started in 2016…


After both briefly signing up for an infamous dating app, within a couple days Niamh & Kevin had matched and started chatting, unknowingly both thinking the other seemed too good to be true. 


A few weeks later, their schedules finally aligned and on a beautiful August day, they went on their first date at Fenway Park to a Red Sox vs Yankees game. A few dates very shortly later, Kevin got an amazing job offer he couldn’t pass up... which also meant a big move to New York City. Unsure if their budding romance could withstand the distance, they decided to just keep it casual and see where things went… that was until the night before Kevin left, he asked Niamh if long distance was something she was willing to try, and she said yes. 


After three years of long distance and many Greyhound bus rides back and forth, a year of living in Brooklyn together, a pandemic, and then one house flip later, they finally settled down in their first home to start their lives together. 


In the summer of 2022, on the same hill overseeing Boston where they shared their first drink together on that very first date (some wine in red solo cups supplied by the very romantic Kevin due to Niamh being just shy of her 21st birthday), Kevin brought Niamh back to ask her to marry him.
