Madeline and I, both alumni of Indiana University, graduated in 2019 (Nick) and 2020 (Madeline). After college, I relocated to Denver in September 2020 due to my passion for endurance sports and to be near some college friends. Madeline followed suit in May 2021, a year after me, seeking to broaden her horizons and embark on new adventures. Despite frequently interacting in the same social circles during our college years, fate never brought us together.

Just two days after Maddie’s arrival in Denver, I invited her and her roommate on a party bus to the Mt. Joy concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater. We hit it off instantly, spending the entire night dancing, laughing, and running around downtown. After that, we became inseparable. We bonded over our shared love for family and friends, food, humor, travel, working hard, staying active, and our alma mater, IU. Quickly after that first night rekindling, we were introducing each other to our families and discussing a long-term future.

Immediately recognizing each other as soulmates, we wasted no time in discussing marriage. 2.5 years later, on the beach near my parents' house, I made the easiest decision of my life and proposed. Madeline joyfully accepted, sealing the first part of our commitment to spending the rest of our lives together.

For anyone who knows us, we travel frequently and often. We always make an effort to spend time with our families. We share a love for fun times with friends, the outdoors, delicious food and drinks, working hard and playing hard, and living life to the absolute fullest! We are often told we go nonstop, never really knowing how to take a break. We have learned it is just how we like to tackle life. We know that no matter what challenges lie ahead of us, there is nothing we can’t overcome as long as we do it together. We love each other completely and know we are always in each other's corner. We are each other’s biggest cheerleaders. We could not be happier to take this step forward together in our relationship to become a married couple and know our story is truly just beginning.

So, here’s to September 14, 2024!!! The day we knew would one day come since the first night we were together. The day we make it official. We are SO excited and cannot wait to celebrate our love with each of you!!!
