When should I RSVP by?

How long with the ceremony and reception be?
The ceremony will take place from 2-3pm. A reception will immediately follow, 4 pm - 8pm.
What are the wedding colors?
Lavendar and rustic orange.
What is the dress code?
Modest formal attire
Will a mass accompany the ceremony?
Yes. Please be quiet and respectful during the service. The priest will walk you through the service and tell you when and how to participate.
If you're a non-Catholic, or a non-practicing Catholic, stay in your seat during communion.
What is the best airport to fly into?

Will the ceremony be outdoors or indoors?
The ceremony and reception will both be indoors
What will the weather be like?
14 day forecast, as of 3/30/26, shows weather between 57-60 degrees, cloudy, with an 8-10% chance of rain during the day. At night, it will cool to 45 degrees.
Will there be assigned seating?
No. Only the bridal party will have assigned seats, and only during the ceremony.
Will there be dancing at the reception?
Of course!
Will food be served at the reception?
Yes, a full meal will be served.

What's the best way to get to the reception from the cathedral?
Follow maple bridge N Monroe Street North approximately 5.4 miles (15 minutes) and take a right onto W Carolina way. Reception will take place in the parish hall, on the East side of St Thomas More's property.
We ask that the bride's family and friends, and any elderly people park next to the reception building, and all other members park in St Thomas More's west parking lot, avoiding the areas taken by Saturday's mass.
When you arrive, Saturday evening mass will be taking place 4:30-5:30 pm, please be quiet and respectful and do not disturb the mass that is actively happening

Can I bring a plus one?
Guests who receive an invitation are welcome to bring their significant other and family.
If you have a special situation or would like to invite a friend, please reach out to Nick and Fuqin in advance so we can confirm. Nick and Fuqin are welcoming anyone they know to the wedding.
Are children welcome?
Yes! Children are welcome to attend and celebrate with us.
What time should guests arrive?
Please arrive by 1:30 PM to allow time for seating before the ceremony begins promptly at 2:00 PM.
Is parking available?
Yes, complimentary parking is available at both the ceremony and reception Church.
Cars cannot be left at the cathedral after the ceremony; the cathedral will need parking for Saturday evening mass.
Do I have to purchase a gift from The Knot?
Not at all. You’re welcome to purchase gifts from any retailer you prefer.
