Our story actually started in the spring of 2017. Nick and I shared a lot of the same friends and they actually introduced us to each other. We formed a friend group with a group of five people where we planned movie nights, hikes, kayaking, bowling and other activities to do as a group.

Flash forward about three years to the summer of 2020 where I was heading to SVSU to go to college. Neither Nick or I had ever acknowledged that we might have feelings for each other but one day in August, Nick asked if he could come to SVSU and hang out with me because he had missed being able to hang out. He made the drive down and we went to Kokomos to hit up the batting cages, play mini golf and then also get some custard from Culvers afterwards. This ended up being our first date and the day we realized that our friendship might become more than just a friendship.

In June of 2022 Nick and I moved into our house in Marion and in December of 2023 Nick proposed at the Highland Castle where we watched a Christmas light show in the rain. We adopted a cute little Corgi named Otis in February of 2024 and now we are looking forward to planning our wedding and celebrating in June of 2025!
