While we love your little ones, our wedding will be a young adults/adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list due to space. Our celebration is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. If your invite says "and guest" then you can bring a guest. Be sure you RSVP for them.

The attire is cocktail. It's a balance between elegant and comfortable and fancy and pared-back. Instead of a floor-length dress, women can opt for a tea-length, knee-length, or midi look. For men, a suit and tie.

If we have a beautiful day, the ceremony will be held on the South Lawn (grass) overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. If it rains, we will move inside to the Garden Rooftop, a beautiful space with panoramic views of the Chesapeake Bay and Bay Bridge. Cocktail hour and reception are indoors.

The weather in September is mildly cool. Temperatures generally range from mid 70's to low 80's.

For our guests staying at the Best Western Kent Narrows, Hyatt Place Kent Narrows, and Hilton Garden Inn Kent Island, we will be providing a complimentary shuttle from these hotels to the ceremony and then after the reception, the shuttle will take guests back to these three hotels.
