In 2019, I moved from Maine to Dallas, Texas for college, while Annabelle made her own journey, leaving the Ivory Coast in Africa to attend college in Maine. What are the odds of that?


At the end of that year, during a break, I returned to Maine and we both found ourselves at our home church, House 27:4. Annabelle was there with friends, and it was then that our eyes met for the first time. 😍


We crossed paths again in January 2020, just before I headed back to school, and this time we exchanged contact information. Annabelle was the first to reach out, and from that moment, our conversation never stopped. We became close friends, spending countless hours FaceTiming, messaging, and sending Snapchats.


On January 11, 2022, we took a leap and started dating. It felt like the beginning of a wild and beautiful journey, full of laughter, deep conversations, and learning about each other’s cultures. We grew closer as we understood each other on a deeper level. Our love continued to blossom, and then, on August 27, 2023, Annabelle said yes! I proposed to her at the Red Sea in Cairo, Egypt 🇪🇬 during a trip to meet her family for the first time. It was like a dream, perfectly unfolding before us.


After, almost a year later we flew to Côte dIvoire (Ivory Coast), Africa 🇨🇮 and had our Traditional African Cultural wedding on August 24, 2024.

Weve bonded over music, worship, impromptu car and parking lot dance sessions, food, movies, overcoming fears, hikes, road trips, and countless moments of laughter. Our love has truly been an adventure, and we know that this is just the beginning.
